How long do I have access to these courses?
How does FOREVER sound?? Unlike Netflix, we will NEVER remove videos from your library, or materials in the course (unless we update and improve it). As long as you're a paying member in good standing, you have lifetime access to all the videos at CivicExcellence - you'll also get access to new content as we add it, even for the courses you've completed.
However, if you decide to cancel your account, or stop paying the membership fee, you will lose access to any and all courses.
Can my colleagues log in to my account?
Sorry, but no.
We've kept our prices low and provide preferred pricing for organizations with multiple members (contact us if you'd like more information on this) so each membership is for the person who signed up.
This allows you to access your personalized assessments, maintain your progress tracking, saved favorites, notes and community discussions - all of which are unique to you.
Our system has the ability to detect when multiple users log in to the same account, and if this occurs, we will revoke access. So please keep your credentials secure, don't share them with others, and you won't have anything to worry about.
How do I update my profile photo?
It's quick and easy! You can use a picture you have stored on your computer or phone, or take a new one with a camera/webcam.
Feel free to use an informal photo, the photo is so we build our network similar to how we would in 'real' life! If you go to "My Profile" you'll see the edit button and it walks you through adding a photo. If you'd rather, you can send us a photo and we'll upload for you.
Where can I find all the upcoming content?
You'll find all new and upcoming content on the Dashboard. When there are exciting changes we'll also use the chat feature (bottom right corner), the forums or email.
What if I notice something that is missing or not working?
We would be SUPER appreciative if you could mention anything that you notice that is missing, broken links, typos or unclear instructions. "Community Building" has a lot of moving parts, and here at CivicExcellence we've decided to launch and work some bugs out as we go.
You can click the 'chat' icon in the bottom right and share anything you see! We don't want any "technology potholes" impacting our Members' travel!
How do I change my password?

How can I download the videos?
Unfortunately, you cannot download the videos. You can only stream them through the CivicExcellence website. However, streaming is much faster and easier, and you can watch the videos on any device, any time, wherever you have Internet access.
How come this video is blurry?
All the videos at CivicExcellence are filmed and displayed in high-quality HD. However, the video quality adjusts depending on your Internet speed and device. If a video looks blurry, there's a couple things you can try. First, try watching on a faster speed Internet connection. Second, click the "gear" icon at the bottom right of the video and increase the "Quality" value (1080p is full HD.) It's also possible you might need glasses :).
How do I change my display name?

Can I purchase individual courses if I'm a Member (or become a Member if I started with a course)?
We are committed to providing a minimum of 8 courses per year in our Memberships (in addition to all the other Member benefits), but we've also connected with some AMAZING instructors to offer specialty courses that will be offered outside of the Membership. Our Members get 30% off of all of these courses.
If you started with a single course (that is included in the Membership) and would like to convert to a Membership within your first 30 days we would be pleased to credit your Membership with the amount you've paid for the Course.
How can I cancel my membership?
